Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship Australia-wide from Maroochydore, Queensland.

Deliveries can be made to residential and business addresses, as well as PO Boxes where accepted by the carrier. As our window film is shipped rolled in protective tubes or long cartons, some delivery locations (such as Parcel Lockers) may not be suitable. We recommend using a street address where possible.

2. Processing Time

2.1

All Techni Tint window film is cut to order from bulk rolls. Each order is custom prepared specifically for you before it is shipped.

2.2

Orders are typically processed, cut, packed, and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment has been received.

2.3

Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on Queensland public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

2.4

During sales, promotional periods, new product launches, or unusually busy periods, processing times may be longer. If significant delays occur, we will communicate them on our website where possible.

2.5

If part of your order is delayed, we may choose to dispatch available items first at no additional shipping charge.

3. Shipping Options & Delivery Times

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

3.1

All orders require 1–2 business days for processing before they are shipped. Delivery time estimates begin after your order has been dispatched, not from the date the order is placed.

3.2

Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our shipping partners and are not guaranteed.

3.3

Deliveries to regional, rural, and remote areas may take longer than the estimated delivery times.

4. Order Tracking

4.1

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

4.2

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after your shipping label has been created.

4.3

If your tracking has not updated for more than 5 business days, please contact us at hello@technitint.com and we will investigate with the shipping carrier.

5. Delivery & Risk

5.1

Risk in the products passes to you once your order has been delivered to the nominated delivery address.

5.2

If a parcel is delivered under an Authority to Leave (whether requested by you or applied by the carrier), delivery is considered complete once the parcel has been left at the delivery address. Techni Tint is not responsible for parcels that are lost or stolen after delivery.

If you require a signature upon delivery, please contact us before your order is dispatched.

5.3

If nobody is available to receive your parcel, the carrier may redirect it to a nearby collection point or leave instructions for collection. Any parcels returned to us due to being unclaimed may incur an additional shipping charge for redelivery.

6. Incorrect Delivery Addresses

6.1

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

6.2

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately at hello@technitint.com. We will do our best to update the address before dispatch; however, we cannot guarantee changes once the parcel has been shipped.

6.3

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the customer's expense. Refunds for returned orders will exclude the original shipping costs and any fees charged by the carrier.

7. Shipping Delays

While we aim to dispatch and deliver all orders as quickly as possible, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

• Carrier delays

• Severe weather

• Natural disasters

• Industrial action

• Road closures

• Public holidays

• Other unforeseen events

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Damaged or Lost Orders

8.1

Our window film is carefully packaged in protective tubes to minimise the risk of damage during transit. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

8.2

If your order arrives damaged, please email hello@technitint.com within 7 days of delivery and include:

• Your order number

• Photos of the outer packaging

• Photos clearly showing the damage to the product

Please retain all packaging until your claim has been resolved, as the shipping carrier may require it.

8.3

If your parcel appears to be lost, or your tracking has shown no movement for 10 business days, please contact us. We will open an investigation with the shipping carrier. Carrier investigations may take up to 10 business days to complete before a replacement or refund can be considered.

8.4

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Vehicle Tint Laws

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the window film they purchase complies with the laws and regulations applicable in their state or territory.

Techni Tint is not responsible for purchases that do not meet local legal requirements. We recommend checking your local vehicle tint laws before placing an order.

10. Order Changes & Cancellations

10.1

Because all window film is cut to order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has commenced.

10.2

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact hello@technitint.com as soon as possible with your order number. We will do our best to assist before your order enters production.

10.3

Once your window film has been cut, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded due to a change of mind. Please refer to our Refund Policy for further information.

11. Local Pickup

We do not currently offer local pickup.
